More than a celebration of film, the New Economy Film Festival is a showcase for inspiring visions of economic transformation. Featuring award-winning documentaries, the festival addresses both the challenges of our current economy and pioneering efforts to build a more just, inclusive, and ecologically-regenerative economy. The event aims to broaden awareness of these critical themes, and provide a forum for collaboration, activism and change.
Founded in 2013 as part of New Economy Week, NEFF brings together filmmakers, activists, visionaries, and everyday people for two days of screenings, filmmaker panels and public discussions devoted to building awareness and support for the budding New Economy movement. In the spirit of New Economy Week, NEFF not only aims to highlight great examples of economic transformation, but also to help connect the dots and connect the people whose courage and creativity makes change possible.
